What’s the Real Nappies for London scheme?

Some London council boroughs are part of the Real Nappies for London scheme which offers a voucher to those who want to purchase nappies for home-washing or to put towards using a nappy laundry service. Seeing as we helped to set this scheme up (we were the first London retailer to push Camden council for a cash incentive for real nappy users in 2004), we heartily support this scheme.

How do I redeem my Real Nappies for London voucher?

Nappy Ever After accepts the Real Nappies for London voucher when you make a purchase in the shop, at a Nappuccino event, via mail order or online. You must spend the full amount on qualifying items – nappies, wraps, boosters, liners and Nappi Nippas all qualify, other items such as swim nappies and nappy buckets do not. No cash change can be given. Voucher numbers are unique and are issued by the relevant borough. The amount which can be redeemed is printed on the voucher and differs from borough council to borough council. The voucher is valid for six months from date of issue. Vouchers have to be redeemed at point of sale and cannot be redeemed retrospectively.

Now that vouchers are being emailed to recipients, you have two choices as to how we can redeem your voucher. You can email the voucher to us once you've received your order confirmation from mail2007@nappyeverafter.co.uk along with your scanned identity proof (baby’s birth certificate, household bill, driving licence) OR post the voucher (no photocopies please) and identity proof (photocopies of baby’s birth certificate, household bill, driving licence) to:

You will need to post us or email us the voucher and proof of identity before we can finalise your order and send you your nappies.

How do I use my RNfL Voucher

On the checkout page, below where you enter your delivery address tick the  'Yes' box next to the words 'I would like to apply for the RNFL Subsidy'.  Then email your voucher and scanned proof of identity (your baby's birth certificate, a household bill or your driving licence will be fine) or post your voucher to us at the address above along with a copy of proof of identity (a copy of your baby's birth certificate, a household bill or your driving licence will be fine).  

It is easiest for us if you choose to pay by credit or debit card.  Although you enter your card details immediately we don't take any payment until your order is ready to be shipped.  Once we receive your voucher we will deduct its value from your order total and will only charge you for any remaining amount.  

Please follow the steps detailed below in order to redeem your voucher: 

1. Place your order either online or by telephone. If ordering online, at checkout please select either the 'Cheque' or 'SecureForm' option. Your total to pay at this stage will not have the voucher amount deducted. 
2. Email us the voucher and appropriate ID or post your voucher and appropriate ID to us (for your own benefit if posting we recommend you send this by registered post). The voucher must not be a photocopy, but the ID can be photocopied.
3. We will contact you to say we have received your voucher and will deduct the voucher amount from the total of your order. If you opted to pay by cheque, at this stage please send us your cheque. Once payment has been received we will despatch your order to you.
